A recent rally in China has lifted emerging market stocks to one-year highs as mainland stocks gained 3 per cent, their highest in over three months.
Hong Kong shares gained 0.75 per cent.
"It gives the market some comfort that China will contribute positively across the EM space with demand for commodities, which is important for sentiment more generally," said Jakob Christensen, head of EM research at Danske Bank.
The MSCI Emerging Market Stocks Index gained 0.4 per cent on the China rally, along with optimism in European emerging markets
