Women leadership dominates in emerging markets, most notably in South Korea and Taiwan.
The two emerging market countries account for 26 per cent of the MSCI Emerging Markets Index and will have female presidents by the end of May.
In other emerging market countries like Romania, more than half of firms are lead by women executives. In Russia, 40 per cent of senior business roles are held by women, a stark contrast to Western Europe's 26 per cent.
