Brazil markets decline as impeachment vote annulled

Brazil's markets declined as the lower house in Congress annulled the impeachment vote against President Dilma Rousseff.

The Bovespa stock index lost 2 per cent, while et MSCI Latin American stock lost 0.8 per cent.

The real weekend 1.5 per cent against the US dollar after an initial decline of 5 per cent on news of the decision.

The proceedings now return to the lower house where votes were overwhelmingly cast against Rousseff.
