Emerging Markets boosted by China debt increase

Emerging market stocks have been boosted recently by China's debt increase. Since beginning the year down, the MSCI Emerging Market Index has risen 23 per cent.

Similarly, the Bloomberg Spot Commodity Index is up almost 19 per cent, buoying the value of goods emerging market countries export.

In response, commodity prices have been boosted by demand in China due to a resurgence of housing and infrastructure construction.
